In our previous topic we had learned about the Email Settings of Blogger. Here in this topic, we will learn about the language and formatting settings of Blogger blogs although these settings are not much important but I recommend you to implement them on your blogs because they can be useful at sometimes such as Language settings can help you to get AdSense account approve easily.

What are Language and Formatting Settings?

Language settings describe the language of your blog and the formatting settings describe time zone and time format etc.

You have to select the correct language in which your blog is written. Be careful about selecting the language of your blog because if you want to use AdSense on your Blog then you must have to select the English language because AdSense is basically for English you can see the list of supported AdSense languages here.

What is your time zone? Not sure then search the Google for your area’s time zone you will definitely find it in the search results. Or click on the down arrow sign in from of Time Zone option and select your country from there.

Date Header Format

This is what how the date will appear in your blog’s header. There are many templates which also displays the current date on the top of the homepage so click on the arrow sign and select your favorite date header format. Choose anyone or leave it as it was, because it is not very important.

This is somehow same to the Date Header Format but this is timestamp so select anyone as it is also not important in any aspect.

You often have seen a date in front of comments. Comment Timestamp Format is used to describe how the date will appear in front of comments. There are many formats for comment timestamp select any simple such as 22/6/16 or any which you want.

These settings are not very important as the Search Preferences or Basic settings but you must know what the Language and formatting settings are about that’s why I have published this article.
